Returns & Exchanges Policy
At Happier Childhood, we want you to feel confident and comfortable when investing in products for your child and your home. This policy is designed to be clear, fair, and transparent - so you know exactly what to expect if a return, exchange, or cancellation is ever needed.
Policy Overview
We accept returns and exchanges on eligible items within a defined timeframe, provided they meet the conditions outlined below. Our goal is to resolve any concerns efficiently while protecting the quality and safety standards our customers expect.
Return & Exchange Eligibility
To qualify for a return or exchange, items must be in new, unused condition and returned in their original packaging. All accessories, components, manuals, and included parts must be present and undamaged. Products that show signs of use, assembly, or wear are not eligible for return.
Return Window
Returns and exchanges must be initiated within 30 days from the date your order is delivered. Requests submitted outside this window may not be accepted.
Return Shipping Responsibility
For returns initiated due to a change of mind or ordering error, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. For items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect, Happier Childhood covers all return shipping expenses. Happier Childhood does not charge restocking fees for returned items.
How to Start a Return or Exchange (RMA Process)
Please do not send returns to the original shipping address. Once your return is authorized, we will provide the specific return warehouse address for your item. To begin a return or exchange, please contact our support team at info@happierchildhood.com with your order number and a brief explanation of the request. Our team will review the details and provide return instructions. We offer prepaid return labels for eligible returns; when used for customer-initiated returns, the cost of the label will be deducted from the final refund.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please notify us promptly so we can assist. For freight (large or oversized) deliveries, damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. For small parcel shipments delivered by carriers such as UPS or FedEx, damage must be reported within 15 days of delivery. Clear photos of the packaging and the item are required to help us resolve the issue quickly.
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled for a full refund as long as the cancellation request is received before the order has shipped. Once an order is in transit, it will need to follow the standard return process.
Refund Processing Time
Once a returned item is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. In the event that the original payment method is no longer active, we will coordinate with you to provide an alternative refund solution. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the refund.
Our Error vs. Customer-Initiated Returns
If a return or exchange is due to an error on our part, such as receiving the wrong item or a product defect, we take full responsibility and cover all related shipping costs. For customer-initiated returns, including buyer’s remorse or ordering the wrong item, return shipping costs apply as outlined above.
Exchanges Process
Exchanges are handled by returning the original item and placing a replacement order. Customers are responsible for return shipping and reshipment costs associated with exchanges, unless the exchange is due to a defect or fulfilment error.
